Good that there is a maintenance contract for the boreholes. Often boreholes are provided but left to the community to repair. Neglect results in them becoming inoperational.
Often times initiatives like these are left in the hands of the communities to adopt and make sure they are sustained. But of course, history proves that it's never really worked that way...
