Harare, Zimbabwe-Zimbabwean business magnate Dr Tinashe Manzungu has been invited to attend the 13th African Archivers Awards (AAA) ceremony and International Summit at the House of Lords, UK Parliament, on July 14, 2023, writes Staff Reporter.

He also said that he is looking forward to meeting other business people from the UK and around the world to discuss ways to develop the African continent.
The AAA ceremony has been held annually since 2009 and has honoured some of the most prominent Africans, including Archbishop Desmond Tutu, Former African Union Chairperson Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma, Former President of Tanzania His Excellency Jakaya Kikwete, Deputy Secretary General of CommonWealth Dr. Joseph Ojiambo, and late professor Attah Mills, former President of Ghana, among others.

Manzungu said he is looking forward to the International Summit and that he believes it is a platform for Public-Private Partnership (PPP) initiatives in Trade and investments across the globe.
"The invitation is an honour and privilege that we, as Zimbabwe or Africa, are cherishing. During the conference, we are going to be targeting the issues of trade, unlocking investment and trade opportunity in Africa through triple PPP, so as Africans, we are saying we want to meet other business people in the UK and across the globe and see how we can move in terms of developing the African continent,” said Manzungu.
“And these are some opportunities that we can never take for granted because it is time for Africa to rise, and for that to happen, it needs people with the same energy towards growth. Well, coming from southern Africa, it is my mandate to ensure that SADC is also at the forefront of such a platform. The Lord has invited me to be part of the delegation, and it is recommendable to find Africa."
Manzungu's nomination for the AAA award is a testament to his work in business and infrastructure development.
He is a leading figure in the Zimbabwean business community and is committed to developing the African continent.
