Zimbabwean Business Tycoon Dr. Tinashe Manzungu to Attend International Manufacturing Convention in Egypt
The convention is expected to attract foreign investors, diplomatic missions, Egyptian business leaders, and manufacturers.
Cairo, Egypt — Zimbabwean business magnate Dr. Tinashe Manzungu has received a special invitation from the Federation of Egyptian Industries to attend the 2nd edition of the Annual International Manufacturing Convention and Exhibition (IMCE), writes Staff Writer.
The event is scheduled to take place from October 28th to 30th, 2023, at the Al Manara International Conferences and Exhibitions Center in Cairo.
Dr. Manzungu, a prominent figure in the global business arena, will represent the construction and primary industry businesses in sub-Saharan Africa at the convention. He has been invited to participate in a panel discussion titled "Strengthening Cooperation with the Arab, African, Euro Mediterranean, Regional, and International Economic Clusters."
Additionally, he will engage in bilateral meetings for future partnerships (B2B), including sector meetings covering Engineering, Building Materials Industries, Petroleum and Mining, Real Estate Development, and Healthcare Services.
Expressing his enthusiasm for the event, Dr. Manzungu sees it as an opportunity to learn about business cultures in different parts of Africa and explore global business prospects.
He emphasized the importance of this gathering for Zimbabwe and the Southern African region.
"It is a significant honor, and I am humbled to represent Zimbabwe," said Dr. Manzungu, who serves as the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Zimbuild Property Investments and is the Group Chairman of TM Group.
He also holds positions as a Board Director for the African Business Council and the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA).
Egypt, known for its robust infrastructure development, was chosen as the convention's host, offering attendees valuable insights into the nation's industrial structures. Dr. Manzungu believes that Egypt's leadership in this field provides an excellent opportunity for knowledge sharing and networking with experts from around the world.
Dr. Manzungu also sees potential for business collaborations between Egypt and Southern African countries, particularly in the construction sector.
Joint ventures between Egyptian and Southern African construction companies could open doors to new markets and facilitate the transfer of technology and skills.

The 2nd edition of the IMCE will focus on supporting small entrepreneurship, addressing international industrial challenges, and promoting human development's role in local industries, aligning with Egypt's state strategy.
