Teddy’s debut album receives grand welcome
This comes after a flood of positive feedback from R&B music fans on Teddy's posts about the album on various social media platforms, including Facebook and Twitter.
Malawi: 'MAKADI,' a debut album done by the Blantyre-based Rhythm and Blues (R&B) singer and song-writer known in the music industry as Teddy, appears to be enjoyed by many R&B music lovers in the country and beyond after being released on October 27, 2022.
This comes after a flood of positive feedback from R&B music fans on Teddy's posts about the album on various social media platforms, including Facebook and Twitter.
"I am yet to find the best favourite song in the album, for the time being, I am listening and enjoying all 15 songs," one of the comments by R&B music fan, Humphrey Nyangu leads on Teddy's Facebook post about the MAKADI album.
Tamanda Kulenti, another R&B fan, praised the album in a comment on the album's Facebook post.
"MAKADI nation all the way, much love Teddy, you did a fantastic job on this album," she said.
According to an online poll conducted on a well-known social media fun page dubbed 'Mikozi,' a lot of R&B fans appear to be enjoying MAKADI album, as many of them rated it at an average of 9 out of 10 (9/10).
Nthangwanika Kondowe, the album's distributor, stated that she has received orders for the album from R&B music fans living outside of the country.
"The album's digital sales have also received requests from fans in South Africa, Tanzania, and Zambia," Kondowe said.
According to her, the album's CDs are available for purchase at Poly Steers in Blantyre, Doorbell Services in Lilongwe, and Katoto Filling Station in Mzuzu for K5000 per CD copy.
The 15-track album is also available for streaming on a variety of digital platforms, including YouTube, Spotify, and Boomplay, to name a few.
