This win helped them keep their hopes high for the league title.
In another exciting match, St Gabriel-Zintha managed to displace the second-placed Kawinga FC with a convincing 3-1 victory over Support Battalion.
However, Kawinga FC, one of the contenders for the league title, had a frustrating day as they were held to a goalless draw by Mbadzi FC on the same day. This result pushed them down to the second position in the league standings.
Currently, Strikers Reserve leads the 12-team league table with 13 points, closely followed by St Gabriel in second place with 12 points. Kawinga FC now occupies the third position with 11 points.
In another match played in Salima, Airborne Rangers secured a 1-0 victory over Mangoni Warriors.
