Shadow Councilor Encourages Community Collaboration for Ward Development

SALIMA, Malawi — Mica Chisale, the shadow councilor for Chitala ward under Traditional Authority Khombedza in Salima, has urged the community to unite and work collectively to expedite the socio-economic development of the ward, writes Alinafe Nyanda.
Chisale emphasized the need for community members to come together in a collaborative effort aimed at advancing the area's development and improving the lives of its residents.
He expressed that it's time for the people to work in unison and join forces to address the ward's developmental challenges.
Chisale noted that Member of Parliament Enock Phale and President Lazarus Chakwera, while playing crucial roles, cannot single-handedly resolve all of the ward's development issues.
The aspiring candidate commended President Chakwera for his transformational agenda, which has positively impacted citizens' lives and empowered communities through various projects.
Chisale called upon the residents to unite as one entity and work collectively toward the comprehensive development of the area.
He stressed that collaboration, unity, and solidarity are essential elements for development, enabling the people to support any initiatives that will foster growth and prosperity within the ward.
Moreover, in an effort to uplift the welfare of individuals with disabilities, Chisale urged all stakeholders to collaborate and ensure that the needs of people with disabilities are effectively addressed.
He emphasized the importance of seizing every opportunity to engage with colleagues living with disabilities within Chitala ward.
