Malawi: Raised for a Purpose Ministries (RFP) is hosting and celebrating a large family convention in Blantyre with the goal of empowering and ministering to the whole man.
During the convention's opening, the ministry's president, Pastor Aubrey Mwasinga, stated that members should be able to show Christ to the world.
"As Christians, we must manifest Christ to people out there by having visible results that keep people in a church," Mwasinga said.
He also stated that all members of the congregation must embrace the culture of attending church meetings, training, and services.
"We are a product of the meetings that we attend, and these training are critical because they have the ability to turn someone's trash into treasures," Mwasinga explained.
Pastor Aubrey also urged all church members to be serious about their spiritual growth during the programme.
He went on to say that all church members should have complete faith in God in everything they do.
"We have to trust in God's word because it is spirit and life," Mwasinga said.
"It is also important to understand that we become what God has crafted us to become in that all we can do is trust in his ability to transform our lives."
In a similar vein, Pastor Maxwell Tambala praised the ministry for organising a convention that includes a variety of activities such as training and fellowship.
"We are happy and grateful for the convention because it allows people from all branches to come together and grow together while learning from one another," Tambala said.
He also confirmed that they had learned a lot during the training and that they would be able to put what they had learned into practice for the betterment of the gospel's advancement.
The grand convention, which began on Tuesday and will conclude on Sunday, drew representatives from all branches of the ministry from across the country, with thousands attending the Sunday service.
