Upon his arrival, the Grammy Award-winning artist emphasized his deep connection to the continent.
"It's not a matter of choice. Africa is where I'm originally from," said Spear, who traces his ancestry to Senegal.
"We, as Jamaican people, are African descendants. So, Africa is our original territory."
As the music filled the stadium, where ticket prices ranged from K15,000 to K1 million for VIP access, the audience was transported to a different world.
