Commending the region's achievements, President Tshisekedi drew attention to SADC's impressive scores in the African Union Commission's Multidimensional Regional Integration Index.
The index highlighted SADC's notable progress in areas such as financial, infrastructural, trade, and environmental integration.
The president used the occasion to call for heightened awareness of SADC's pivotal role and accomplishments among government officials, ambassadors, media professionals, and the general public.
He stressed the need for resilience in the face of crises and underscored the significance of industrialization, coinciding with the upcoming SADC theme on sustainable industrialization.
