PLU Community Comes Together to Support Chikondi and Mphatso Orphanage
University Organizes Donation Drive to Bring Joy to Underprivileged Children
Lilongwe, Malawi - In a heartwarming gesture of gratitude and compassion, Pentecostal Life University (PLU) has called upon its staff and students to donate essential items for the Chikondi and Mphatso Orphanage, writes Winston Mwale.
The university aims to bring joy and support to the underprivileged children residing in the orphanage during the upcoming festive season.
PLU, known for its commitment to community engagement, has organized a thanksgiving event scheduled for Friday, December 22, 2023.
The university is encouraging its community members to donate various items, including foodstuffs, soap, clothes, and any other items they wish to contribute.
Chikondi and Mphatso Orphanage, situated in area 25A, provides a safe haven for children between the ages of 3 and 17.
The orphanage relies solely on the goodwill of individuals and organizations like PLU, as it does not receive donor funding.
This call for donations emphasizes the importance of community support in uplifting the lives of these vulnerable children.
To facilitate the donation process, a designated table will be set up in the university cafeteria. All donations are requested to be delivered by Thursday, December 21, 2023.

The PLU community's generosity and willingness to make a difference in the lives of these underprivileged children are commendable.
By coming together, they are spreading joy and providing much-needed support to those in need.
