Pentecostal youth conference in Chikwawa emphasizes active ministry roles

CHIKWAWA, Malawi — The Independent Pentecostal Church concluded a three-day youth conference Sunday, encouraging over 100 young members to take active roles in ministry, writes Moses Thole.
The event, held at John Independent Pentecostal Church, brought together youth from seven church branches to develop leadership skills.
Bishop Daniel Masanduko, the church's founder, urged attendees to be exemplary in their conduct. "Youth play a pivotal role in the church. Their energy and enthusiasm are essential for running church affairs," Masanduko said.
Medison Thole, youth director based in Mozambique, expressed satisfaction with the conference's outcome. He encouraged participants to apply their new knowledge in their communities.
Brenda Mwadula, a conference attendee, praised the organizers for a successful event.
