Pastor Francis Nkhoma and Gateway Guest House donate essential items to combat cholera pandemic at Monkey Bay Community Hospital

Malawi: To help combat the cholera pandemic in Monkey Bay, Pastor Francis Nkhoma of the Baptist Church, in collaboration with Gateway Guest House, has donated various items to cholera patients at the Monkey Bay Community Hospital, writes Bertha Gama.
The items, which include hand sanitizer, washing, and bathing soap, were given to nurses and doctors, as well as to patients in the pediatric and general wards.
During the donation, Pastor Nkhoma emphasized the need for love and support to ease the cholera pandemic.
Dr Victor Kumfunda, the facility in charge of Monkey Bay Hospital, also called on other well-wishers to assist the hospital with pit latrines, beds for cholera patients, and proper shelter for workers.
Mary Phiri, speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries, expressed her gratitude for the donation and urged people in her community to go to the hospital immediately if they experience cholera symptoms.
