Pashello Community Clinic Set to Open Soon in Chikwawa District
The organization's Executive Director, Lloyd Malola, announced the upcoming launch of the Pashello Community Clinic in a recent Facebook post.
CHIKWAWA, Malawi - The much-needed community health clinic is nearing its opening in Chikwawa District, an initiative of the local Pashello Charitable Trust, writes Moses Thole.
The organization's Executive Director, Lloyd Malola, announced the upcoming launch of the Pashello Community Clinic in a recent Facebook post.
"The clinic aims to provide essential healthcare services to underprivileged and vulnerable groups like orphans and the elderly in the area," Malola stated.
Leaders from Ngabu Community, including Senior Group Village Headman Misongwe, have welcomed the Trust's latest endeavor, praising their previous work supporting orphans and women in vulnerable situations.
"Pashello has been doing commendable work here. This new clinic will be a great benefit to our community," said Misongwe.
The clinic's establishment fulfills the vision of the Trust's founder, the late Felia Malola, who started the organization back in 2011 with the goal of uplifting disadvantaged communities in Chikwawa.
Local health officials have also lauded the initiative, citing the dire need for more accessible healthcare facilities in the rural district.
An official opening date for the Pashello Community Clinic is yet to be announced, but it is expected to commence operations in the coming weeks.
