"We've long considered the media our valuable fourth estate partner," Chatsika said.
"This year, we're focusing on the new Pensions Act, highlighting pensions' economic importance and raising awareness about updating nomination forms."
The program has trained over 200 journalists since 2020, with 10 reporters receiving awards for excellence in business journalism.
Golden Matonga, MISA Malawi Chairperson, praised the initiative's impact.
"Five years of organizing these training sessions have resulted in significant improvement in the coverage of these stories," Matonga said.
He urged participants to "utilize this opportunity to grow ourselves as professionals and drive more stories on savings, insurance, and investment."

"This workshop will not only enhance our understanding of such a critical topic but will also equip us with the knowledge necessary to inform and educate the public effectively," Malango said.
