Malawi: Nyasa Big Bullets FC have been eliminated from the 2022 CAF Champions League after losing 2:0 to Simba Sporting Club of Tanzania in the second leg of the league on September 18, 2022, at the Benjamin Mkapa stadium.
The Tanzanians, who took advantage of their home ground, took an early lead in the first 28 minutes of the first half. Callisto Pasuwa made changes, introducing Chimwemwe Idana for Alick Lungu, but the hosts still looked dangerous as they looked to double their lead.
The first half ended with the host leading the game 1-0.
Though Chimwemwe Idana and Hassan Kajoke attempted different comebacks, Simba's defence held them off.
Referee Akhona Zenneth Makalima called time on the game after 94 minutes in favour of Simba Sporting Club.
