Nde’feyo Artists Reunite for Legacy Show
LILONGWE, Malawi — One of the country’s entertainment outfits, Chitoliro Productionz, says it is set to host its show dubbed “Nde’feyo legacy show” on Feb. 3, 2024 at Illusions (Golden Peacock Complex) in Lilongwe, writes Moses Nyirenda.
Chitoliro Productionz Executive Producer Ken Zizwa Limwame confirmed in an interview that they are ready for the show.
“We have been thinking about this show for a while and we are now just very happy that it is happening,” Limwame said.
The co-founder and former CEO of Nde’feyo Entertainment added that the upcoming show aims to celebrate the legacy made by the record label Nde’feyo Entertainment.
“We can confidently say we transformed the game,” said Limwame, who is also co-founder and former CEO of Nde’feyo Entertainment.
He added that among other musicians, the show will feature award-winning artists namely Onesimus, Piksy and Maskal who were once signed by Nde’feyo Entertainment.
According to him, after Lilongwe, the show will be taken to Club 24/7 on Feb. 10, 2024 and Mibawa Multipurpose Hall on March 2, 2024 in Blantyre.
He said during all the shows, urban music lovers should expect to enjoy old music done by the former signed artists of Nde’feyo Entertainment.
“Urban music lovers should be excited to enjoy and celebrate the Nde’feyo Entertainment as it was one of the players in the urban music, during the show there will be music from 10 to 15 years ago, people will be taken back to the music which they have grown listening to,” he said.
One urban music follower, Calisto Makawa, commended Chitoliro Productionz for organizing the Nde’feyo legacy show saying that the show would help to reunite musicians who were once signed by Nde’feyo Entertainment.
Presold tickets for the show are available at K10,000 ($10) and those who will not manage to buy the presold tickets will pay K15,000 ($15) at the door.
