BLANTYRE, Malawi - The Malawi University of Business and Applied Sciences (MUBAS) is set to host its 2nd annual Research & Innovation Week from August 12-14, 2024, under the theme "Research and Innovation for Wealth Creation", writes Winston Mwale.
"This event is a celebration of the catalyzing potential of research and innovation for national progress and development," said Dr Madalitso Tsakama, Head of Research and Innovation at MUBAS.

Through its various centers, such as the University Innovation Pod (UniPod), Incubation Centre, and Research Support Unit, the university is actively engaged in a range of research and innovation initiatives.
"Research and innovation are core to our mission, and we are committed to tapping into the creative energies of our staff and students to drive Malawi's development," Dr Tsakama added.
The three-day event will feature keynote presentations from international academic leaders, interactive workshops, panel discussions, and exhibitions of research projects across various disciplines.
