MRA Commissioner General, Corporate Affairs Director Exit as Contracts Expire

LILONGWE, Malawi— Malawi Revenue Authority (MRA) Commissioner General John Bizwick has left his position following the expiration of his contract, according to a statement from the MRA Board, writes Wendi Mkandawire.
Board Chairperson Vizenge Kumwenda confirmed Bizwick's departure in a communique.
The statement also announced that Agnes Katsonga Phiri, Executive Director for Corporate Affairs, has left the authority as her contract has expired.
Kumwenda said the board will fill the two vacant positions in accordance with the MRA Act.
Meanwhile, Deputy Commissioner General Henry Ngutwa's contract has been renewed, providing continuity in the authority's leadership.
