Mozambique Conference Highlights Need for Change in African Debt

MAPUTO, Mozambique— A call for reform in African debt practices echoed through the 4th African Conference on Debt and Development (AfCoDD IV) Wednesday.

The event, focused on financial challenges facing the continent, opened with impassioned speeches from key figures.

Hon. Khanysile Tshabalala-Litchfield, representing the African Parliamentary Network on IFFs and Tax (APNIFFT), delivered a stirring address.

Her words, rich in poetic language, emphasized the urgent need for change in Africa's approach to debt and development.

She was introduced by Moderator: Anne-Marie Borges.
