Moyale Barracks Secure Crucial Victory Against Chitipa United

This victory has helped Moyale Barracks move out of the relegation zone.
Moyale Barracks went into the game after a series of disappointing results, with five games without a win. Chitipa United, on the other hand, had won one, drawn twice, and lost twice in their recent matches.
The game saw Moyale take the lead just 11 minutes in through Criffod Fukizi, after a precise assist from Raphael Phiri. Chitipa United quickly equalized two minutes later when Ramadan Ntafu scored from Rajab Nyirenda's corner kick.
Moyale's captain, Gasten Simkonda, displayed excellent shooting skills from outside the box, finding the back of the net at 16 minutes after receiving a cross from Brown Magaga. At halftime, Moyale Barracks led 2-1.
Gasten Simkonda secured his brace at 53 minutes after a defensive mix-up among Chitipa's defenders, making it 3-1. Raphael Phiri added the fourth goal after receiving a long ball from Lovemore Jere.
After the game, Moyale's coach, Victor Chingoka, expressed his delight with the performance and the win, highlighting its importance in their battle to avoid relegation.
"I'm delighted with today's performance; my players were on top of the game. We are not safe from relegation, so we will keep fighting. We needed this win, and I believe we can survive," said Chingoka.
Macdonald Mtetemera, the coach of Chitipa United, described the match as their worst performance, attributing it to fatigue due to playing several games in a short period.
The win has elevated Moyale Barracks from 14th to 13th position with 31 points, while Chitipa United remains in 4th position with 44 points from 28 games.
