Lilongwe, Malawi - In a bid to boost the country's economy and technological advancement, Telecoms Network Malawi (TNM) has received praise from the Minister of Information and Digitalization, Moses Kunkuyu, for introducing the 5G network in Malawi, writes Judgement Katika.
Speaking during the official launch of the 5G network in Lilongwe, Kunkuyu emphasized the significance of advanced technology in various sectors such as agriculture, health, and business.
"The world is advancing rapidly, especially in technology. With the arrival of the 5G network, it will greatly benefit our country, particularly in agriculture, health, and the business realm," said Kunkuyu.
"The introduction of 5G will enhance internet activities, which will play a vital role in achieving our developmental goals."
The minister stressed the importance of embracing advanced technology in all sectors, affirming that this new development presents an opportunity for progress and innovation.
Kunkuyu expressed confidence that the 5G network would significantly contribute to the realization of the country's development agenda.
