Mighty Mukuru Wanderers Thrash Dzaleka Future 7-0 in Preseason Friendly Match

DOWA, Malawi— In a dominating performance, Mighty Mukuru Wanderers secured a convincing 7-0 victory over Dzaleka Future in a preseason friendly match at Champions Stadium, writes Christopher Potipher.
Mighty Mukuru Wanderers took a 2-0 lead in the first half with goals from Misheck Botomani and Isaac Kaliati, the latter coming from a penalty kick.
The team continued their strong performance in the second half, adding five more goals through Christopher Kumwembe, Gaddie Chirwa, Peter Cholopi, Clement Nyondo, and Emmanuel Nyirenda.
"We are focused on building a strong striking force in preparation for the upcoming TNM Super League," said Coach Swazilino Ramadan.
"These preseason matches help us learn and improve our game."
Dzaleka Future Head Coach Chimwemwe Gama acknowledged his team had work to do.
"We need to improve our physical fitness as we prepare for the Chipiku Premier League," Gama said.
Next, Mighty Mukuru Wanderers will face CIVO Service Football Club on Saturday at the same venue.
