South Africa: Thabo Manyoni, Chairperson of the Municipal Demarcation Board (MDB) invites members of the media to a briefing where he will unpack the process leading to the nation-wide public consultation sessions which will kick-start from February to April 2020.
The Chairperson will also clarify the MDB’s position on tackling areas of concern (Hotspots) relating to outer municipal boundary re-determination.
MDB delimits wards in metropolitan and local municipalities ahead of the 2021 local government elections (LGE). To this end, the MDB will host the media briefing to mark the commencement of the delimitation process in preparation of the 2021 elections.
