Man Dies After Being Struck by Lightning in Nsanje

Malawi: A 27-year-old man named Yusuf Yusuf died after being struck by lightning in Nsanje on the afternoon of Tuesday, December 20, 2022, writes Comfort Bulangete.

According to Sub-Inspector Agnes Zalakoma, the public relations officer at Nsanje police station, Yusuf had gone out of his house in Pensulo village to welcome a friend when the lightning struck him.

The incident was reported to the police, and the body was taken to Nsanje District Hospital, where Yusuf was pronounced dead upon arrival.

Yusuf was from Kalumbi Village in Traditional Authority Tengani in Nsanje District.
