Malingunde School for Blind Receives Donation

Lilongwe, Malawi - Malingunde School for the Blind in Lilongwe received a generous food donation valued at MK269,000 on Sunday from the Happiness Group, a team of staff members from the Export Trading Group (ETG), writes Alinafe Nyanda.
Felix Kazambala, the Marketing Manager at ETG, explained that the donation aimed to alleviate some of the challenges faced by the school's pupils, including an inadequate food supply.
"The ETG team, along with other subsidiaries like Seba Foods and Vamala Group, came together to visit Malingunde School for the Blind and witness some of the challenges the institution is facing. Today, we are donating these items to support the school," Kazambala said.
Kazambala encouraged people and well-wishers in the country to consider spending time visiting and supporting the school to promote education among blind students.
Huxley Tundulu, the school's headteacher, expressed his gratitude to the Happiness Group from ETG for their timely donation.
He explained that pupils had been missing some meals due to the lack of food supplies at the institution.
