Malawi Football Legends Launch Replica Jerseys to Support Association
The initiative aims to generate funds to sustain the association's operations while allowing fans to show their support for former players.
LILONGWE, Malawi — The Football Legends Association (FLA) of Malawi launched sales of official replica jerseys Monday as part of their fundraising initiatives, writes Alinafe Nyanda.
The jerseys are available at the association's Chitipi Shop along Mchinji Road in Lilongwe.
"I can confirm that indeed we have put the legends replica jerseys up for sale," said FLA Chairperson Jim Kalua.
"Whether you're a diehard Legends fan or just a football enthusiast, support us by buying a jersey."
The initiative aims to generate funds to sustain the association's operations while allowing fans to show their support for former players.
Football analyst and former player Willy "The Immigration Post" Chabwinja praised the development.
"The replica is more than just a piece of cloth," Chabwinja said.
"It's a statement, a way for the football fraternity to show their love for the Legends and their commitment to the sport."
The association has not disclosed the price of the jerseys.
