Kasalika Community Development Organization Launches TB Awareness Campaign in Dowa District
The project is being implemented with financial support from the Global Fund.
DOWA, Malawi - Kasalika Community Development Organization (KACOD), a local non-governmental organization in Dowa district, has launched a TB awareness campaign to improve the livelihoods of rural communities, writes Mphatso M'bang'ombe.
KACOD Executive Director Gift Mwale said the organization is working closely with the district health office and volunteers to ensure that the campaign reaches every corner of the district.
"We are educating the communities about TB, its causes, symptoms, and how it can be prevented," Mwale said.
KACOD has partnered with various stakeholders, including NGOs, chiefs, and development partners, to ensure the success of the awareness campaign.
