Advent offers internships to top-performing students.
Lilongwe, Malawi — Advent Private School, a subsidiary of Innobuild Limited, has offered internships to the top-performing students graduating from the school, writes Fletcher Chiponda.
The internships will give the students the opportunity to work in various departments of the company and gain valuable experience in the workplace.
Advent Private School CEO Billy Jonathan Chiwotha said that internships are a way of recognising the students' hard work and dedication.
"We are proud to recognise their remarkable intelligence and dedication, as they outshined their peers to earn this incredible opportunity," he said.
"We commend their efforts and assure them of valuable experiences within our various departments."
One of the awardees, Yankho Muwage, said that he is grateful for the opportunity and is looking forward to learning more about the workplace.
"I'm going to utilise any chance to broaden my knowledge in the field, as I'm passionate to learn how to handle work pressure and how to be professional in my work," he said.
Innobuild Limited is a construction company that has been involved in a number of projects in Malawi.
The company is committed to giving back to the community and supporting young people.
