Haiya attends MK13m King Kabvina Trophy Sunday Mponela

MPONELA, Malawi - As Mighty Wanderers Reserve and Kalonga Rovers gear up for the MK13 million King Kabvina Trophy this weekend, sponsor of the competition Musaiwale Kabvina has revealed that Football Association (FAM) president Fleetwood Haiya is expected to attend the much-anticipated final as a guest of honour, writes Alinafe Nyanda.
The much-anticipated clash between Wanderers and Rovers will be played at the King Kabvina Champion Stadium in Mponela close to Linde hotel, Dowa on Sunday afternoon, Dec. 31, 2023.
According to Kabvina, "This is a mouthwatering clash a soccer fan should not miss."
Kabvina said the gates will open at 10 a.m. and people are urged to make their way to the stadium early.

Meanwhile, Bullets legend player Fisher Kondowe said they are excited about the clash with Dzaleka Select.
"As Bullets legends we are excited to play a team of Dzaleka Select calibre. I should urge our supporters and the entire soccer fraternity to come on Sunday at Champion Stadium to witness good football from us and Dzeleka as well as the final between Wanderers Reserve and Kalonga Rovers," said Kondowe.
Some of the notable people who are expected to grace the occasion include legends Kinna Phiri, Young Chimodzi, Willy Chabwinja, Pertkins Kayira, Fisher Kondowe, Allan Kamanga and Flames and Swallows forward Frank Gabandhno Mhango.
