Ethiopian State Minister Pledges Collaboration with African Innovators

Dr. Bedada emphasised the importance of collaboration and knowledge sharing in driving innovation-led economic growth in Africa.

Addis Ababa, Ethiopia – Dr. Bayisa Bedada, State Minister of the Ministry of Innovation and Technology (MinT) of the Government of Ethiopia, today pledged to work closely with innovators across Africa to foster a vibrant and inclusive innovation ecosystem on the continent, writes Winston Mwale.

Speaking at the second day of the workshop titled "Stakeholder Validation of GEd Training Materials and Curriculum," organised by the AUDA-NEPAD Centre of Excellence in Science, Technology, and Innovation and the Bio and Emerging Technology Institute (BETin) from November 15–17, 2023, in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, Dr. Bedada emphasised the importance of collaboration and knowledge sharing in driving innovation-led economic growth in Africa.
