This announcement comes following a successful resolution of a tariff dispute between MACRA and MultiChoice Malawi (MCM).
The breakthrough came after both parties engaged in discussions on September 4, 2023, in Lilongwe, according to MACRA.
The outcome of the meeting was an agreement and understanding that paved the way for the swift resolution of the dispute and the restoration of DSTv services in Malawi.
MACRA Director General Daud Suleman issued a statement assuring the public that the matter would be resolved with fairness to both parties and in accordance with the relevant laws.
