Ntchisi, Malawi-The Roads Authority of Malawi has awarded a substantial contract worth K31 billion to Fargo Limited for the construction of the critical Dzaleka-Ntchisi-Malomo Road, writes Romeo Umali.
This vital infrastructure project was expected to commence on January 3, 2023.

A site inspection subsequently confirmed the project’s progress, with heavy machinery actively engaged in construction.
Lusizi Nhlane, the district’s commissioner, expressed satisfaction at the project’s revival, noting its contribution to local employment.
The project has ignited optimism among residents, especially business-minded individuals, who anticipate an alleviation of mobility challenges, improved connectivity, and enhanced access to healthcare services.
This is expected to stimulate local businesses and economic growth in the region.
