Comedian Nyau-Uyu declines sex-sponsorship offer

Nyau-uyu has rebuked sex predators who are failing to execute company projects and are instead preoccupied with libidinous behaviour.

Malawi: Felitus Ngwira of the 'Nyau-uyu' trademark in Malawi has raised a red card for a certain sponsor who demanded sex from the comic artist while she was in a sponsorship hunt for the Vilekeke Night of Laughter tour that took place recently.

While thanking companies and individuals for sponsoring her comics adventures, Nyau-uyu revealed that when approached, the sponsor dangled a sponsorship deal in exchange for sex.

"I can give you 10 million just now all you have to do is to come to my room udzadikulir,” the comedian said quoting the alleged sponsor.

The female comedian in her narration lamented that "instead of taking the opportunity to work with me and help raise the flag of comedy and Malawi higher they wanted me to debase myself and give them sexual favours in exchange of professional partnership and sponsorship”.

The Vilekeke Kingdom queen has rebuked the sex predator's behaviour, stating that the country cannot develop with these ill-intentioned minds who are failing to execute company projects and are instead preoccupied with libidinous behaviour.

The Vilekeke Night of Laughter event brought comedians from Botswana and other countries into the country.
