Malawi: Daliso Chaponda, a stand-up comedian, says people should expect nothing but serious business in the upcoming comedies in Lilongwe and Blantyre.

Daliso, who works in the United Kingdom, arrived in Malawi on Wednesday ahead of his exciting series.

The comedian, who previously appeared on Britain's Got Talent and advanced to the finals, held a press conference four days before the first show at the Amaryllis Hotel on August 7.

There, he told journalists that they could expect a series of jokes based on current events.

Daliso will perform alongside another well-known Kenyan-born comedian, Imran Yusuf, at Amaryllis' show on Sunday.

The artist's next comic show will be at the Bingu International Conference Centre in Lilongwe on August 13th.
