With four teams vying for a spot in the finals, excitement is brewing for this weekend's semifinals.
Newcomers Bangwe All Stars face off against seasoned Lilongwe giants Silver Strikers on Saturday, while the Blantyre derby between Mighty Mukuru Wanderers and Nyasa Big Bullets promises fireworks on Sunday.

Even beyond the top teams, the cup has resonated across the nation. District-level participation, including social teams like Soche Socials reaching the last 16, and Simso Innobuild League's Ekwendeni United eliminating Karonga United, highlight the tournament's inclusivity.
Castel's Head of Corporate Marketing and Communication, Lavern Chitakata, expressed enthusiasm for the cup's progress and promised "exciting matches and activities" for the upcoming weekend.
She emphasized the success in talent discovery, a key objective of the competition.
Echoing this sentiment, Chitipa United coach Macdonald Nginde Mtetemera, who faced several lower-tier teams, recognized the tournament's ability to unearth exceptional players with potential for the super league.
Individual awards add an extra layer of excitement, with lucrative prizes for Player of the Tournament, Golden Gloves, Golden Boot, Discovery of the Tournament, and Player of the Match in each game.
The inaugural champion will claim K50 million, while the runner-up earns K25 million. Semifinalists receive K10 million each.
