Call for expressions of interest to attend training on Television Reporting: Misa Malawi
MISA Malawi has organised the training in partnership with DW Akademie, Deutsche Welle’s centre for education, knowledge transfer and media development.
Malawi: MISA Malawi is calling for Expressions of Interest (EoI) to attend a five-day training on Essential Television Reporting Skills (ETRS) scheduled for Monday, September 26 to Friday, September 30, 2022 at Mtolankhani House in Lilongwe.
MISA Malawi has organised the training in partnership with DW Akademie, Deutsche Welle’s centre for education, knowledge transfer and media development.
Target Group
The training is open to practicing TV reporters who are MISA Malawi paid-up members. We have space for 12 participants.
The selected participants will be required to bring smartphones for practical sessions and commit to attend the training for five days.
Our approach
With its combination of hands-on sessions and intensive feedback, MISA Malawi’s Essential TV Reporting Skills module teaches you how to produce high quality TV reports and programmes.
Are you interested in critically understanding and creatively utilising the modern and unique TV reporting skills? The motivation should include the following:
Experience, include years spent working as a journalist for TV or other related channels
Current work place (indicate if you are a freelancer)
How the training will benefit you as an individual and your media outlet
Commitment to attend the training for five days
Whether you have a gadget for practical sessions or not
Only shortlisted participants will be invited. Those who will be busy with other work-related and personal duties during the days of this training should not apply!
