JOHANNESBURG — A networking summit aimed at fostering empowerment and collaboration among businesswomen is set to kick off Global Entrepreneurship Month in South Africa this November, writes Winston Mwale.
The Established Businesswomen GIBS Networking Summit, scheduled for Nov. 1-2 at the GIBS Business School in Sandton, Johannesburg, will bring together business leaders, entrepreneurs and founders for a two-day event focused on building relationships and exchanging knowledge.
"This summit ... will roll out the red carpet for Global Entrepreneurship Month in SA and offer special opportunities, solutions and tools for entrepreneurs and business leaders," organizers said in a statement.
The event, which includes a gala dinner and full-day networking summit, will also serve as a fundraiser for Bontlebame NPO, supporting its Entrepreneurship Development Programme in Winterveldt for 2025.
Kea Modise-Moloto, founder and director of Bontlebame, emphasized the summit's goal: "Join us ... to end the year strong, making connections that matter."
Participants will have the opportunity to hear from industry experts and thought leaders while exploring potential collaborations.
