All set for Ring of Truth 10th anniversary celebration

Malawi: Channel for All Nations (CAN) radio has announced that the 10th anniversary of its phone-in radio programme dubbed Ring of Truth will be held on July 23, 2022, at Sheaffer I.C.A Marquee in Lilongwe from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Pastor Nick Chakwera, the key host of the radio show and the upcoming event, stated that everything is in place for the celebration to take place.

"We are ready for the celebration in terms of equipment, stage, children's zone, and food for sale; we have also confirmed the event's main performers, The Great Angel Choir, and we are just waiting for the day of the event," Chakwera said.

He also stated that he will personally launch his music project, Nyimbo za chitsotsombetso, during the event.

"I will also officially launch Nyimbo zachitzotsombetso volume one through the festival, and I have done all the rehearsals," he said.

The Ring of Truth presenter, who is the son of the state President, Lazarus Chakwera, therefore encouraged his radio listeners to attend the upcoming free Ring of Truth 10th anniversary celebration in large numbers.

Abraham Mzinga, a Ring of Truth follower from Lilongwe, praised CAN for organising the Ring of Truth 10th anniversary celebration.

"The celebration will help to connect the audience and the hosts of the radio programme, which will help to maintain the program's followership,"

He also stated that, as a Ring of Truth supporter, he is eager to attend the radio program's anniversary celebration and interact with some of the program's hosts.

The Ring of Truth phone-in radio programme airs every Thursday from 7:30 PM to 10:30 PM on CAN radio, and it allows listeners to ask bible-related questions.
