Afrox, 265 Energy Strengthen Malawi Energy Partnership
The reinforced alliance between the industrial gas giant and Malawi's energy company comes as the southern African nation endeavors to secure its energy future.
LILONGWE, Malawi- A delegation from industrial gas supplier Afrox, a subsidiary of The Linde Group, visited the Lilongwe branch of 265 Energy Ltd to reinforce their longstanding partnership geared toward boosting energy security and advancing decarbonization efforts in Malawi, writes Bridgette Mwanoka.
The visit on Thirsday, led by Afrox Africa President Sebastian Sachtleben and Afrox Emerging Africa Director Joseph Ramashala, marked a milestone in the companies' six-year collaboration that began when 265 Energy became an Afrox LP gas distributor.
"Afrox is unquestionably a key stakeholder in 265 Energy's operations," said Asford Chilunga, finance manager at 265 Energy.
"Our partnership has been instrumental in fueling our growth and ensuring the availability of clean energy solutions to our customers across Malawi."
265 Energy's sales manager, Phillip White, highlighted the importance of adaptability as the energy landscape evolves, noting their partnership with Afrox enables leveraging expertise and resources to meet customer needs with sustainable solutions.
"As the energy landscape evolves, it is imperative for us to adapt and innovate," White said.
