"The decision to join this network signifies a strong commitment to ethical business practices and aligns with our shared vision of fostering a culture of lawfulness, building accountable institutions, and enabling people everywhere to access opportunities and lead healthy, productive lives," Kipng'etich said.
Dr. Edward Mungai, Lead Consultant and Partner at Impact Africa Consulting Limited, emphasized the strategic importance of the membership.
"Our membership in the Blue Company will allow us to collaborate with other forward-thinking organizations and contribute to the realization of SDG 16," Mungai said.
"By promoting ethical practices and strengthening anti-corruption measures, we aim to build a more transparent business environment that supports economic growth and social well-being across Africa."
The Blue Company membership allows Impact Africa to display the Certified Blue Company member badge, symbolizing adherence to ethical guidelines and commitment to anti-corruption initiatives.
Solomon Irungu, External Relations and Communication Lead at Impact Africa, added, "Being recognized as a Certified Blue Company member is a significant achievement for all of us at Impact Africa. It reflects our collective commitment to ethical behaviour and reinforces our culture of integrity."
The partnership is expected to provide Impact Africa with tools and resources to strengthen internal policies and corporate responsibility, while also engaging in knowledge sharing, policy development, and advocacy efforts to support the implementation of anti-bribery and whistleblowing policies.
