LILONGWE, Malawi - ActionAid Malawi, a social justice organization, will launch its new Country Strategy Paper (CSP VI) on Thursday, August 22, at the Bingu International Conference Centre (BICC) in Lilongwe, writes Winston Mwale.
The new strategy, titled "Transforming Systems for Social Justice (2024-2028)," outlines ActionAid Malawi's commitment to addressing economic and climate injustices in the country.

ActionAid Malawi Executive Director, Yandura Chipeta, highlighted that the strategy, to be implemented from 2024 to 2028, aims to advance social justice, gender equality, and poverty eradication.
"After thorough consultations, ActionAid Malawi has identified three priority areas: attaining the rights of women, young women, and girls; securing systems change for economic justice; and ensuring climate justice, resilient livelihoods, and effective humanitarian work," Chipeta said.
She expressed confidence that CSP VI, with support from stakeholders, will guide ActionAid Malawi's efforts to achieve the aspirations of Malawians enshrined in Malawi 2063 and the Sustainable Development Goals.
