9th Anniversary of HWPL World Peace Summit Set to Discuss Multidimensional Peace Strategies
Over the past decade, HWPL has made significant strides in advancing the cause of global peace.
SEOUL, Republic of Korea — The 9th Anniversary of the September 18th HWPL World Peace Summit, organized by the international peace NGO, Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light (HWPL), is poised to convene in the Republic of Korea for a four-day event, commencing on September 18th and concluding on the 21st, writes Winston Mwale.
This monumental gathering will bring together approximately 1,800 global leaders, representing various sectors, and holds special consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (UN ECOSOC).
The theme of this 9th-anniversary celebration is the "Implementation of Multidimensional Strategies for Institutional Peace."
Over the past decade, HWPL has made significant strides in advancing the cause of global peace.
This summit will provide an opportunity to reflect on these accomplishments and chart the course for the future.
Leaders from the realms of politics, education, religion, women's groups, youth organizations, and the media, hailing from every corner of the world, will engage in discussions geared toward executing strategies within their respective sectors.
These discussions will encompass a wide range of agendas, including the propagation of a culture of institutional peace, the expansion of comparative scriptural studies, the pursuit of long-term peace through education, and the formulation of policies aimed at nurturing a culture of peace.
Central to these deliberations is the concept of "Institutional Peace," as introduced by HWPL.
This concept advocates for international agreements designed to establish sustainable peace within frameworks guided by the principles enshrined in the Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War (DPCW).
The DPCW serves as a crucial instrument for maintaining peace, addressing conflicts, and furthering the cause of mutual understanding and cooperation among nations and peoples.
Chairman Man Hee Lee of HWPL underscored the imperative of global participation in the pursuit of peace, stating, "We, at HWPL, have traversed the globe 32 times to carry out the mission of peace. Our unwavering goal has always been the attainment of peace. Whether it's within families, schools, or any other organization, peace stands as an indispensable necessity. Not a single individual has rejected the notion of peace. Hence, I hold a steadfast belief in the realization of peace."
As HWPL's World Peace Summit marks its 9th anniversary, the world looks forward to the insights and strategies that will emerge from this monumental gathering, with the collective aim of advancing peace on a global scale.
