Malawi: Busy Signal, a Jamaican artist, will be the main headliner at this year's Sand Music Festival, which will take place in October in Malawi's lakeshore district of Salima.

Lucius Banda, executive director of Impakt Events, announced on Tuesday on the deal regarding the Reggae Music Again singer for the music festival, which will take place from September 30 to October 2 at Kambiri Beach Resort.

"There will be no CDs," says Lucius Banda of Impakt Events, adding that the Jamaican reggae icon will be accompanied by a full band.

Previously, the reggae dancehall artist had been booked for similar events in "Warm Heart Africa."

The event's organisers also revealed a South African artist, Naak Musiq, who will perform at the concert.

Harmonise, a Tanzanian musician was recently unveiled in Lilongwe, and Yo Maps, a Zambian musician, is among the international artists performing at the popular music festival.
